Fees

To ensure that you understand the value of what visits to our clinic include, we recommend that you call our clinic on 8344 7105 to discuss your needs with our friendly staff. They will be happy to let you know about our fees for our new patient consultation, x-rays (if necessary), your report of findings, as well as regular consultations. We are pleased to offer a discount for students, pensioners and concession card holders. If you have three or more immediate family members attending the clinic together on the same day, we are able to offer you a special rate to make care affordable for your whole family.

Private Health Insurance

If you have extras cover with your private health fund membership, you will usually have a degree of cover for your chiropractic care. Walkerville Chiropractic allows you to access these rebates on each visit quickly and easily without having to send receipts to your insurer. The HICAPS system gives us the option to swipe your membership card, instantly transferring your rebate to us, so that you can just pay your gap on the day and you’re done. Our payment terminal is conveniently equipped with Paywave functionality so that your gap payment can be processed easily.

All private health funds carry a range of different products and levels of cover. If you’re not sure what you’ve signed up for, it is a good idea to contact your health fund and find out. Walkerville Chiropractic accepts all health fund memberships that participate in the HICAPS system. These include:

Medicare Team Care Arrangements (Previously Called EPC)

Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept any new patients under Medicare funded team care arrangements. Existing clients who are already on team care arrangements may continue to use them.

DVA – Department of Veteran’s Affairs

Walkerville Chiropractic is registered with DVA and can process DVA claims electronically on the spot. Prior to booking your appointment with us, you will need a valid referral from your GP so that your claim can be processed. Please confirm whether you have a GOLD card or a WHITE card, as this will have an effect on what kind of treatment you may be eligible for.
